![]() ![]() ![]() I created a new partition table though with those 4 partitions, hoping that it could solve the problem. So I read more about it, launched testdisk again, but even after a deep search I could only find 4 of the 6 partitions I had. When I booted via the USB stick, I could see that I had only one big unallocated partition whereas I had 6 before launching testdisk. I don’t know exactly what was my mistake, but it was a big one, as after having restarted the computer, I couldn’t boot at all. So I booted with a live USB and launched testdisk. So I started to look for some information on forums and I read about using to restore a partition with testdisk. But then when I booted on Linux the screen froze after some time and I had to shut down the computer. Then when I booted on Windows, I could see that I had a unallocated partition and so I increased the size of Windows partition without any issue. I waited for a few hours, but had no choice but to force the shut down. While I was reducing the size of the Linux partition with Gparted, the computer froze at around 96%. I have an Asus X556UQ on dual boot with Win10 and Linux Mint 20.3 (on separate partitions). I am a totally newbie to Linux so sorry if I don't use the right language. ![]()
